The Fiberglass Endless Pool

The fiberglass Endless Pool is a swimming pool that provides a current to swim against.  This current makes the pool suitable for competition swimmers to use for practice, as well as for anyone who wants to swim for fitness.  The 5-horsepower current generator is completely adjustable to provide as much or as little movement as you want.  It even comes with a remote control.  The swimming area of the Endless Pool is seventeen feet long and seven and a half feet wide, making it a good size for family enjoyment.

The depth of the Endless Pool is from four and a half to five and a half feet deep.  It has a bench for seating on the end opposite the current generator, and can be ordered with hydrotherapy water jets included along the back of the bench.  You can also order the pool with lights installed.  The four and a half foot deep model can be installed either inground or above ground.  The pool is available in either white or light blue.

The Endless Pool comes equipped with a circulating pump and a cartridge filter.  It is made of 3/8 inch thick fiberglass.  It also comes with an electric heater and a solar heating blanket.  This blanket is a cover that floats on the water to reduce evaporation and keep warmth in the pool.  If desired, you can choose to order it with a natural gas or propane heater instead of electric.  You can also get it with a manually operated retractable security cover.

Another neat option of interest to competitive swimmers is an LED readout that shows your speed when swimming.  You can also get it with an underwater mirror.  A high performance six horsepower current generator is another possible option.  Tile trim around the water line is another popular option you can choose.

The four feet six inch depth pool holds 3900 gallons of water.  The five feet deep model holds 4350 gallons, and the five feet, six inch depth pool holds 4800 gallons.  It has built in steps to make entry into the pool easy.  It can be installed partially inground or aboveground with optional extra bracing.  The Endless Pool is tough enough to be used in commercial settings but is also appropriate in the home.  They are often used as indoor pools.  A good way to install them as an indoor pool is to use the partially inground method to provide for crawlspace underneath.

The optional security cover rolls onto a roller on the front of the pool.  It is locked into place when it is covering the pool, and is strong enough to support the weight of an adult.
