Baqucil pool products come in three major categories, or “families,” as they like to call them. These are the Baquacil core products, Baquacil support products, and the Baquacil balance chemicals. Together, these products make up a complete, comprehensive pool maintenance system that assures you of safe and sparkling clean pool water at all times, allowing you to spend hours in your pool without worrying about skin damage or corrosion due to chlorine exposure.
Baquacil core products
This line of Baqucil pool products performs basic maintenance functions such as sanitizing and algae control. The Baquacil Sanitizer dissolves chemical and organic waste into a form that can be absorbed by your pool filter. The Algicide attacks the algae in the water while the Algistat neutralizes and converts the water into an algae-hostile environment to prevent future growth. The core product family also includes the Baquacil Shock and Oxidizer, which oxidizes swimmer waste to make the water clearer. You can also get the Baquacil test strips, which you can use to monitor your pool water and know which Baqucil pool products you need.
Baquacil support products
Baquacil support products provide secondary maintenance, such as stain removal and chlorine neutralizing, and generally improve the quality of pool water. They also include special cleaning products for pool accessories such as pool covers and filters. The Baquacil Metal Control gets rid of dissolved metal particles that give the water a murky appearance. The Water Clarifier eliminates haze, allowing you to see clearly underwater, and the Baquacil Foam Disperser eliminates foaming in wave pools and spas. There is also a complete Baquacil Foam Cleaning Kit, which includes a filter cleaner, surface cleaner, and a cleaning pad.
Baquacil balance chemicals
Baquacil balance chemicals include four products: a pH increaser, pH decreaser, calcium hardness increaser and alkalinity increaser. The pH increaser and decreaser allow you to adjust the acidity of your pool water depending on your needs. The Calcium Hardness Increaser makes use of high-purity beads, or prills, to increase calcium hardness and make the water lighter and clearer. You can use the Alkalinity Increaser to adjust alkaline levels for people with sensitive skin who are easily irritated by acidid substances. Baquacil balance chamicals are best used after testing with the Baquacil Test Strips to make sure you are using the right Baqucil pool products.
